Lancer Skincare : The Method

Several weeks ago I received Dr. Lancer’s 3 step method + Eye contour lifting cream completely complementary through Influenster. If you have not heard of Dr. Lancer, he is a dermatologist of the stars (most well known for treating Kim Kardashian) based out of Beverly Hills. Dr. Lancer created this skin care line for you and me (unless Kim K is reading this in which case let me just quit my day job right now)!

Taken directly from the Sephora website:

“Using his unrivaled clinical experience, Dr. Lancer worked to develop a line of technologically advanced, active ingredient-focused products designed to improve the overall health and appearance of skin, while also giving patients the sought-after ‘Lancer Glow.’ Backed by first-class dermatology, utmost luxury, and true efficacy, Lancer Skin care seeks to bring “Believable Beauty” to all skin.

The Lancer Method, the core of Dr. Lancer’s philosophy, is based on a biological principle universal to all skin: the cellular cycle of renewal. By devising a system that supports this process through manual exfoliation, Dr. Lancer was able to create a unique anti-aging line that delivers beautiful, glowing results to all skin types. The three steps of The Lancer Method dramatically improve the appearance of fine lines, texture, discoloration, and pore size. All of the Lancer skin care treatments are formulated for optimum efficacy and luminous results.”

That sounds absolutely luxurious, right?!

Step 1: Polish

This is my favorite step of the whole method. Even if I could not splurge for the whole set, I would definitely get this one! Polish is a powerful anti-aging exfoliator. It helps with dryness, dullness and uneven skin texture, large pores, and blackheads. You may have previously heard to only exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week. Throw that out the window! This ultra soft method is great for a daily exfoliant even for sensitive skin! My face feels so rejuvenated after using. You probably recall from my previous post how I have dry skin on my T-zone, so, I tend to get flaky skin in those areas throughout my day. Since using this method I have not had that issue! Sold at Sephora and retails at $75 for 4.2oz.

Step 2: Cleanse

The next step in The Method is the cleanser. Here again, it really targets dryness and uneven skin tone, which are two of my major concerns. Whereas the Polish Method doesn’t have a strong scent, this one does. I do enjoy it though. The cleanser is silky and hydrating, lathers nicely, and really soothes the skin. Sold at Sephora and retails at $55 for 4.05oz.

Step 3: Nourish

The final step of The Method is Nourish which is an Ultra-hydrating, anti-aging moisturizer. Boy is this luxurious. It is extremely hydrating (which is what I need) but does not make my skin appear or feel greasy. The formula is light and absorbs into the skin very well. It does seem to have a light fragrance. A little goes a long way, which is great because the price tag is a little steep. Brace yourselves, sold at Sephora and retails at $125 for 1.7oz. Ouch.

A Little Extra Bit of Love: Eye Contour Lifting Cream

Although not a part of The Method, Lancer threw in this eye cream as an added bonus. My eyes are super sensitive so I was thrilled when I tested out this cream and it didn’t make my eyelids itch or burn. The cream targets eye area concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, dryness, and loss of firmness and elasticity. The areas around my eyes have never felt more hydrated and I can tell a difference in dark circles and puffiness. A little goes a long way, which here again is good because, it is sold at Sephora retailing $95 for 0.5oz.

When you think of anti-aging products many people would assume they are for an older generation, however, the younger you begin battling aging signs, the better. Though I am only 25, anyone with children knows they add at least 5 years to your skin. Here you will see a before and after image of using The Lancer Method for 14 days. With any skincare product 14 days is the least amount of time you should use a product before being able to see true results, so I feel this is just the beginning for my skincare improvement. What you may not be able to see in the pictures is my overall skin texture has severely improved. My pores are less visible, and my skin texture and discoloration has begun to improve. I am excited for the continued results using these products.
